Hornady 22 Cal .224 68 Gr Bthp Match Bullets 100Ct - 2278

Precision shooters and reloaders seeking exceptional accuracy for long-range target and competition applications will appreciate the Hornady 22 Cal .224 68 Gr BTHP Match Bullets. These 100-count projectiles are engineered specifically for superior performance in .22 caliber rifles, delivering the consistency and ballistic efficiency demanded by serious marksmen.

Key Features

• Secant Ogive Profile – This geometric design minimizes drag and promotes flatter trajectories for improved accuracy at extended ranges.
• AMP® Jackets – Hornady’s Advanced Manufacturing Process produces highly concentric jackets with virtually zero runout and minimal wall thickness variation, ensuring unmatched uniformity shot after shot.
• Swaged Lead Core – Precision-formed cores enhance balance and contribute to reliable expansion characteristics when needed.
• Boat Tail Hollow Point Design – The BTHP configuration provides high ballistic coefficients and optimal bearing surface for enhanced stability in flight.

Benefits for Precision Shooting

These bullets address common challenges faced by reloaders, such as inconsistent grouping and unpredictable wind drift. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.355 and sectional density of 0.194, they help maintain velocity and resist environmental factors, allowing shooters to achieve tighter groups and more predictable performance during practice sessions or matches. Their lead construction (not lead-free) makes them ideal for standard target loads in compatible cartridges like .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO.
