The Ruger 10/22 Takedown is an incredibly popular and versatile rifle, which you can now take to the next level with the Gemtech MIST-22TD integrally suppressed barrel. All you have to do to suppress your 10/22 Takedown is take the factory barrel off, and install this barrel from Gemtech. The suppressor geniuses at Gemtech have designed the MIST-22TD suppressed barrel to mount directly to the Ruger’s receiver using the same mechanism as the factory barrels. The only difference is that the MIST-22TD requires a stock and handguard for a bull barrel and won’t work with the smaller diameter Ruger factory stock and handguard on your 10/22 Takedown. The MIST-22TD barrel won’t upset the balance of your Takedown rifle either, clocking in at only 21.3 ounces.
Features:
- Caliber: 22 LR
- Tested to 120db
- 17 inch overall length includes barrel and integral suppressor
- Requires bull barrel stock and handguard
- Mounts directly to 10/22 Takedown receiver
- Suppressor made from 6061 T6 Anodized Aluminum
Gemtech is well known for innovation in the suppressor world, and the MIST-22TD is no exception. As the only commercially available aftermarket integrally suppressed 10/22 Takedown barrel, the MIST-22TD allows shooters to swap between suppressed and unsuppressed shooting as easily as swapping barrels. The Ruger’s takedown system is rock solid, so removing the barrel and remounting it won’t cause the zero of any receiver mounted optics to shift. Utilizing a 1:16 RH twist, the MIST-22TD integrally suppressed barrel will provide excellent accuracy with a wide variety of commercial ammunition. And like all Gemtech G-Core products, it’s completely user-serviceable.
