A faster 1:5 Twist Rate combined with the Lightweight Faxon Gunner Profile.
The 300 Blackout cartridge yields increased performance in shorter barrels and effective subsonic performance. By speeding up the twist rate to 1:5 from common 300 BLK rates of 1:7 and 1:8, these Faxon Match Series Gunner Barrels increase projectile stabilization and energy on target.
The Gunner profile is a blend of two of the best performing profiles of all time, GOVT/SOCOM and Pencil. Faxon’s Gunner profile combines the durability of the GOVT/SOCOM profile with the weight savings and maneuverability of the Pencil profile. The Gunner profile brings the balance of the rifle back towards the shooter’s body, limiting fatigue, and allowing for shooting, training, or hunting all day long.

Insanely accurate, and QUIET
This fast 1:5 twist rate is so hard to find, yet so worth finding. The Honey Badger has it, this Faxon match quality barrel has it, and not many others. Most are 1:7 or 1:8. The 1:5 is key. Stabilizes the heavy subsonic rounds and keeps the gas needs controlled. Pair this with a nice can and an adjustable gas block, and you have yourself a stealthy little hollyweird-quiet tac driver.
USThe Perfect Length and Twist
I am doing a Pistol .300 BLK build and wanted a short barrel with 1:5 twist barrel and this one fits the build perfect.
USTBD
Didn't like the 220gr subs. They were literally all over the place at 50. Couldn't get on paper. With the 110gr Vmax, I got it dialed in pretty nicely. Maybe it just needs broken in. Also an adjustable gas block is a MUST. This will cycle subs without a can.
