Faxon’s MATCH SERIES of barrels takes our renowned performance and value up a notch.
Manufactured 100% in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock, the Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay.
The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon which maintains incredible dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and with the coating, tightens up fit between the extension and receiver – again improving upon accuracy. Combined, the Match Series of barrels are ready for when duty calls or the buzzer beeps with unrivaled performance value.

Grendel 18" AR Barrel
Purchased this barrel to upgrade a friend's "factory"....unsatisfactory rifle. This barrel installed easily and greatly improved the accuracy of the same ammo within just a few rounds. I'm confident it will get even better after more rounds put through it.
USTack Driver
Just resting it on the buggy at 50 yards I was within an inch. Can’t wait to see what it can do at the range.
USGreat barrel, even better price!
I knew Faxon made some of the best AR barrels, but waited to buy one till now. This 6.5 Grendel barrel is perfect! You can't go wrong with Faxon!
USVery nice barrel
I have not put too many rounds downrange yet but I think this one is a shooter. Beautiful finish. Nice tight fit in my Aero upper. Great service and great prices as always from AR15discounts.
