Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

Great Barrel
I built a light weight AR with one of these barrels. Faxon is the best, and so is AR15Discounts.com I'm happy : )
USGreat shooting barrel.
I have used several Faxon barrels, this one was a particularly good shooter with M855, 3/4" at 50yd, red dot, off a bag. The gunner and pencil barrels are soooo sweet. I dimpled this one for a gas block, just wish they came dimpled factory. Highly recommend.

Like all Faxon barrels I have the quality of the barrel is excellent. I haven’t shot it enough to make a judgment on the loss of accuracy when the barrel gets hot like everyone claims. Hot or cold it is as accurate as I will ever need it to be. It is pretty light and that’s what I was looking for , I think a tad bit over a pound.
