As with all Faxon Barrels, the Faxon Rimfire line is made in-house at our Cincinnati facility from raw bar stock, and undergo the same rigorous testing and quality control measures that have made our AR and pistol barrels a market favorite.
These barrels are made from 416-R stainless steel, given 6 Groove Rifling at a 1:16 twist, and a Recessed Target Crown. Barrels are Magnetic Particle Inspected, and are finished in either Salt Bath Nitride or PVD.

Looks are cool, functional is more important
I have many Ruger 10/22s with bull barrels. Decided to build another with this Faxon barrel. It has caused me a great deal of headaches. The main issue is barrel droop. My vortex diamondback tactical ran out of vertical adjustments trying to sight in at 50 yards. So I went through the steps. Adjustable vblock, bedded the stock, barrel shims, and lower scope rings. No I’m only 1inch short. I would not recommend this barrel to someone just getting started. Otherwise you’ll be paying a gunsmith by the hour to get it right.
