Faxon Firearms is proud to partner with Q on the development of barrels for their revolutionary new round, 8.6 Blackout (8.6 BLK).
With barrels employing an impressive 1:3 twist rate, 8.6 BLK channels rotational energy to increase energy on-target.
As with all Faxon Barrels, these 8.6 BLK barrels are machined from raw bar stock in our greater Cincinnati Facility. Faxon 8.6 BLK barrels are fully stress-relieved, air-gauge tested, Magnetic Particle Inspected, and 11-degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. Constructed of 4150 CMV, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected.
All Faxon Barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges and are backed by the Faxon Lifetime Guarantee.

Amazing 
Barrel is awesome first rounds are 210 grain a little loud but not bad very fun to shoot
Great Barrel, if you can get one.
Its heavy and well made. Its metal. I am not a barrelologist, however, this one does appear to be in fact be a barrel. In all seriousness its a good company and a good product. Ive never had issues with Faxon and their stuff works great. Any item you receive you should check it over, clean it off, make sure there is no manufacturing or storage grit or anything in it beforehand but this is all obvious stuff youre going to do while you prep it to install to your upper and afterward when youre testing it and checking your clearances etc. OVERALL I AM HAPPY and ar15discounts got my order to me as fast as humanly possible. They are one of (or were as of when I ordered it) the only places who had it in stock and the price was good.

I have a 12 inch pistol for subs & wanted to build a 16 inch upper for supers. Really like faxon barrels beyond this purchase
Nice barrel
have not shot yet ammo hard to get and dies on waiting list I order 16 inch barrel finish was great and gas block fit and barrel went in upper receiver with no problem I did use 620 thread locker to make sure no barrel movement and trying get other parts most on back order this build for hunting use only got fast delivery and well pack no damage.
