5 Stars for the DIRTY BIRD AR LOWER RECEIVER
I DID NOT NOTICE THE BLEM. THE INSTALL TO UPPER RECEIVER FIT LIKE A GLOVE AND EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS GREAT EVEN THOUGH HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHOOTING RANGE YET.

I have built 3 rifles using these lowers, all perform as well as lowers I've built from kits. I've yet to find any real blem on any of them.
Blem? What blem?
Just received my blem DirtyBird lower receiver today and I searched and searched for the blem and I can't find it. My observations: mag release and bolt catch are fine, mil-spec, as expected, function perfectly. Trigger is typical mil-spec trigger, usual creep and a little gritty. I found the lower corners on mine to be a little sharp and uncomfortable, but I replace all my triggers with HiperFire EDT's, so doesn't matter to me. Safety is as expected, nothing new to report here. Buffer tube seems nice, has clean finish, very smooth, nicely drilled/vented, and end plate was staked perfectly into the castle nut. Take down pins are nicely finished as well, a little dry and still but I'm sure will break in with a little use. Finish on the receiver is nice and dark, uniform, no tooling marks that I could see. There is a bit more wobble than I expected when mounted to my PSA upper, but the lower receiver came with a nylon tipped tension screw to help take some of the play out of the receivers so...I'm OK with that. Bottom line: Not a bad deal for the price. Seems well built, does what it's supposed to do and looks good doing it. My only complaint: trigger guard is no-name as far as I can tell, not a Magpul, and is a little more grey than black, but didn't bother me enough to loose a star over it.
