Dirty Bird thread protect
My Grendel is a hunting rifle. Hence, I have no use for a muzzle device especially with a low recoil round like 6.5 grendel. Bought the dirty bird thread protector and it fits perfectly. I suggest that you place a rubber o-ring behind the threads before screwing on the thread protector so that it does not come loose after shooting a couple of mags full of ammo.
Looks nice but rough threads
It serves its purpose but the threads were really rough and I had to really clean them up before they would even start to thread onto my barrel...if this would have been going on one of my faxon barrels I would have returned it but I just needed something for a cheap build to cover up the threads
