6mm ARC is quickly becoming one of the most versatile rounds for the AR-15. With better ballistic coefficients and velocity than 5.56 and .223 and a flatter shooting experience compared to .308, it’s no wonder this cartridge is becoming wildly popular! The Dirty Bird 6mm ARC complete upper is great for anything from hunting medium to large game, hitting targets at a 1000 yards with ease, and everything in between.
The 16″ 6mm ARC Complete Upper is built with accuracy and maneuverability in mind, which is why we went with the following components:
Ballistic Advantage 16 6mm ARC SPR Profile

I have only had this 6mm ARC out for one shooting session. I put 40 rounds threw it breaking it in. After the first 10 round and getting my optic sighted in It started to perform better. I hit three Bulls in a row at 100 so we backed up to 200 yards. 3 inch group at 200 with the 108 ELDM ammo off the shelf. but that was probably me and the fact that the rifle isnt quite broke in. probably would have shot moa if i would slow down and take better shots. All in all im satisfied with the upper. I will tell you that in the description it says it has anti rotation tabs on the hand guard. It does not. That was something I really wanted on the handguard because I hunt with my ARs and it does not have them like it says it does. so right there is a star for me. Had to swap the gas block for an adjustable because I run a suppressor. Setting that wasnt as easy as I thought it would be either. The first 4 or 5 cases stuck in the chamber. Could have been pressure issues setting the gas block, IDk. But that went away when I opened it up a bit. I will hand load for this calliber so Ill make sure i get the acuracy im after. That being said, its a decent upper. should shoot just fine, and didnt come in with a single sctatch on it. looked really nice with the black and bead blasted stainless barrel.
