Carrier Assembly: The flared rear of the enhanced bolt carrier is designed to reduce carrier tilt/cant during recoil and increase reliability by strategically relocating key bearing surfaces. Made from Case-hardened 8620 steel.
The CMC enhanced carrier has fewer points of contact, resulting in less friction area. The increase in mass ensures proper gas pressure and increases dwell time, thus improving extraction while shooting suppressed or short-barreled rifles (SBRs). Bolt Assembly: The Bolt is a “true” Mil-spec dimension. The external surfaces are CNC ground after heat treatment for a precision fit. The bolts are held to the highest possible tolerances. The “trumpet” area behind the gas rings, where carbon collects, is precision CNC Ground after heat treatment, to ensure as smooth of an area as possible, easing clean up and longevity. Made from 9310 Case Hardened Steel, bolt components are Shot Peened & Black Nitride coated.

I’m impressed
Paired with a 14.5” BCM SOCOM M4 barrel, YHM Phantom FH, and H2 buffer, this BCG had me stacking brass at 4 o’clock so consistently I was able to catch almost 100+ casings with a 5 gallon bucket set about 5-6 ft back at the shooting bench. The recoil impulse is unbelievable on my setup, which runs about 7.5-8 lbs with light and RDS. Not just for suppressed rigs! If your rifle is running a bit over gassed, or you want the smoothest recoil impulse possible, I highly recommend this BCG. No gas to the face ever, smooth to run, and very easy to clean with the black nitride. If you’re on the fence, go for it!

Fits perfectly, tried it with three different uppers; Yankee Hill Machine, Sons of Liberty Gun Works and an old Colt. Runs flawlessly. The black nitride finish is 4.0 and cleans up so much easier than the old phosphate ones. Will probably replace the old ones I have as funds become available to do so.
