This Bear Creek Arsenal BCG features a full mass M16 profile bolt carrier machined from 8620 steel and finished with Salt Bath Nitriding. The gas key is properly staked and the carrier does have forward assist serrations. The 5.56 NATO bolt assembly is made of 9310 steel and features a manganese phosphate finish. Every BCG goes through magnetic particle inspection (MPI).

Price was Right!
I previously acquired a 6.5 Grendel bolt (no carrier) from BCA. I tried to find a standalone bolt carrier, but they are rare and pricey (usually nickel boron or such). I had been looking at getting a full 5.56 bolt carrier group and swapping out the bolts, but even then most were well over $100. Then I saw this one on sale for half of that and $15 less than what Bear Creek Arsenal was charging. I couldn't pass it up.
