Trash!
I bought this useless thing twice. The first time I managed to somehow get the screw out and it went flying. Me, being unable to find it I decided to buy another one from BAD's website. This time I couldn't get the screw out at all no matter what I did. I'm out almost $60 because of S&H and I now have a button that is useless because the screw is badly stripped. I'll be avoiding BAD from now on. Garbage tier product.

What a disaster
The product shown is NOT the current version of this mag release. The current version has a recessed hex bolt that requires a 0.05" hex key to remove the finger pad in order to install the mag release. However, the product is still being shipped with a 1/16" hex key that is too large to fit, so you must supply your own 0.05" hex key. Furthermore, per Battle Arms the hex bolt is engineered backwards: righty loosey, lefty tighty. But there are no instructions with the package, on the website, or on their YouTube videos to warn you of this. By the time I called BA to figure out why I couldn't the pad off, the bolt head was stripped because I kept trying lefty loosey. Waiting for a replacement to see if I can get it installed on the second try.
