This .223 Wylde chambered 18 inch barrel is machined from 416R Stainless Steel with a bead blasted finish. Our Premium Series Barrels feature a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
This barrel features some of the most aggressive and weight reducing flutes on the market. Coming in at a total weight of 32.02 oz. We’ve managed to cut almost a pound out of the barrel while not sacrificing one ounce of accuracy.

BA 18 barrel
Bought and got it CeraCoated looks great shoots even better paired with a Faxon BCG
USDid not want to give credit where credit wasn’t do, “BUT” ……..
I wanted to wait until I got at least 250 rounds down the pipe before I made a review. Now truthfully I could not get any projectile to group I have been building and reloading for at least 37 years and what powder charge and projectile worked best for me was Varget 24.0 grains and 75gr. Or 77gr. Matchkings with an overall of 2255 from tip to stern because I still wanted to use P Mags, I could have went a little longer with metal mags but I have a bunch of Magpul 10 and 20 rounders . Now remember when looking at the targets I Mag dumped as fast as I could not wanting to site in yet and using the center dot for an aiming point I am not done yet tweaking things but the Barrel does have potential. I lapped it when I received it with JB Bore past about a hundred and fifty times to clean up any burrs and when I scoped the barrel to my luck the gas hole is right dead center of the rifling groove not all are like this with production barrels it’s hit or miss, using a Aero Precision gas block and the brass falls at 10:00 or 11:00 o’clock sweet.

The Ballistic Advantage 18" .223 Wylde SPR Fluted Stainless Steel Rifle Length AR-15 Barrel, Premium Series is that barrel. The finished gun shoots Dime groups all day long at 100 yards . My friends get upset because the center of the targets are gone. This is a great barrel!
