This Ballistic Advantage AR-15 barrel is offered with a length of 16 inches and is chambered in .223 Wylde. This barrel is machined from 416 stainless steel which can be electropolished and hold very tight tolerances compared to some alloys of stainless steel. This Ballistics Advantage barrel is equipped with a mid-length gas system that is well powered to cycle through the extraction and re-chambering of a round after firing, but which can still provide a softer recoil feel.  For many builds, the mid-length gas system can provide softer recoil, depending on the components and your intentions.  The 416 stainless barrel showcased here, has a nitride QPQ finish to help resist corrosion over long-term use.

This barrel features a low profile .750 gas block journal that is designed to be longer with a special step-cut, allowing for an OPS Inc 12th gen suppressor and collar.  The Ballistics Advantage barrel is HP and MPI tested and weighs in at a reasonable 32 oz.  It is HP and MPI tested and is guaranteed by the manufacturer to give a MOA accuracy of essentially, one inch or under from 100 yards.
