This .223 Wylde chambered 14.5-inch barrel is machined from 416 Stainless Steel with a QPQ finish. Our Premium Black Series Barrels feature a Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
Hanson Series Barrels feature our proprietary BA Hanson profile and include a pinned lo-pro gas block. Hanson barrels are not designed to work with aftermarket piston kits.
All NFA/ATF Rules Apply
You may use this barrel with a lower receiver that is a Registered SBR, Machine Gun, or Pistol. Possession of this barrel along with a Non-NFA lower receiver is Prohibited, except when permanently attaching a muzzle device extending the length to 16 inches.

Ok, so I’ve only done two builds. My first was a Spikes Tactical lower and a prebuilt BCA upper in 7.62x39 bcuz I already own an AK & have lots of ammo. Second build I went with an Aero Precision M4-E1 matched upper and lower set with top notch lpk and a ALG Defense ACT single stage trigger that is all NiB coated - much better than mil-spec break with all the reliability of the original design. I live in the Republic of Connecticut so pistol brace, forward grip, 10 round max and no barrels shorter than 12”. I bought the Ballistic Advantage 14.5” Premium Black with 1:8 in 223 Wylde. This BA barrel looks and shoots beautifully (sub moa @ 100yds after break-in). Perfect (tight) fit btw the barrel and Aero upper. Excellent in every way and great BANG for the buck (couldn’t resist). My third will be a step above #2 with a Proof 10.3” barrel and a pinned and welded 2” muzzle device. Regardless, I will be buying all my parts from AR15 Discounts.

I am building my second AR 15. I had been looking at Balistic Advantage barrels and found ar15discounts.com had the barrel I wanted at a really great price. I am very happy with the barrel. It fits snuggly into my Areo Presicion upper. The shipping was fast. I ordered on a Thursday and had it at my house in NC on Tuesday. I will be ordering more.
