USPerfect fit
It was a perfect fit for a PSA mid length carbine with initially an A2 front. It is a bit on the heavy side.
Nice Rail But....
The quality of the rail is good, nice finish but is a little heavier than some other drop in rails. However, the biggest issue is this is advertised as being compatible with round hand guard caps, which it is NOT. This will only work with triangular caps. My barrel came with a round cap so I went with this one as AIM sports says it will NOT work with the tri-cap. It did not fit my round cap, so I ended up buying a tri-cap to make sure and it DID fit the tri-cap. So I will probably end up swapping the caps. AIM sports really needs to fix their advertising of this product. I don't blame AR15 discounts as they are probably just using the AIM sports description. I even e-mailed AIM to confirm and they told me it was made for round caps. I think they are confusing this with the carbine length rail which IS made for round caps. If you compare the pictures of both rails you will clearly see they are different shapes.
