Good Armorer's Wrench on the Cheap!
I bought this specifically for a spanner nut on a retro build I'm sourcing parts for now, just haven't got that far along yet. My other wrench doesn't have this feature, not many do nowadays, they're scarce as hen's teeth and frog beards! Tried it on a regular castle nut, worked fine. Same on a barrel nut. Wish I'd known about this Aim Sports wrench a couple of years ago, when I bought a much more expensive one. Saw a few negative reviews but it looks like AR15 Discounts reached out and took care of the dissatisfied customers, but it appeared by the photo, one fella apparently broke the one tooth off on the spanner nut feature, using it for tightening a barrel nut! SMH on that one. LOL! Their sister company, Dirty Bird Industries are known for taking care of us also. Thank you AR15 Discounts, love your products and service!
Good tool
Assuming it has what you need, this tool will serve you well. Ignore the broken lug reviews. If you use the correct end of the wrench and for the proper application, it should work just fine. Yes, using the castle nut spanner to remove your old, crusty barrel nut will break it. Don't be dummies.
