The Aero Precision threaded roll pin is used in multiple applications, including for the bolt catch on their M5 Lower Receivers and for the forward assist on our Upper Receivers. Made from stainless steel, it has a 6-32 thread pitch and is designed to be installed with a 1/16″ Hex Key Wrench.
Note:Â This product is already included with their M4E1/M5E1 Enhanced Uppers, M4E1 Threaded Uppers, M5 Upper Receiver and their M5 Lower Receiver. It is not necessary to be purchased separately. This individual product is available for customers who have lost or damaged their existing threaded roll pin.

New way.
I love this fix, ordered two more set screws just in case. I backed off the set screw and placed half a drop of blue lock tight just in case. I run my rifles hard and don't want to lose it. I will use one on the next build.
Specs
I was wondering what the specs of Aero Precision Threaded Pins APRH100597C and APRH100300C are. So I bought one of each and checked. Both are 6-32 thread, and both are 0.096" diameter at the smooth/unthreaded section. The difference is length. The APRH100597C is 0.450" long The APRH100300C is 0.500" long Cheers

Love this pin. I dont have to bang and risk scratching my receiver with this pin. I had to retrofit it on my receiver which was not easy, but well worth it.
