The AR-15 Stripped Upper Receiver is one of our most popular products. Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, this stripped upper is precision machined to mil- spec M16/M4 specifications and features M4 feedramps. On this specific model, the forward assist provisions have been removed. Match this upper with one of our AR-15 lower receivers for a solid and dependable fit.
Note: The no-forward assist upper receivers use a custom forging designed to work specifically with mil-spec port doors. It may not work with aftermarket port doors.

It's Aero Precision, it's guaranteed good quality. Fit and finish are top notch. Etched T-marks on the top are prominent. No forward assist means a slightly lighter upper and, really, when is the last time you actually used that part? Pick up an NBS or Aero dust cover kit, and you're good to go. I think this upper is a quality piece. The upper fitment with the barrel and extension was very tight. The coating color looked good and it was applied evenly. I would recommend and purchase again.
