Worst barrel I've ever seen
It gets two stars for the price, otherwise it's a one star. The exterior looked fantastic, as perfect as they come. I mounted it to my upper, pinned the tube to the gas block, and slid the gas block into position. I broke out my borescope to verify the gas block alignment, as I slid the scope in that's when things went sideways. The entire length of the bore had varying degrees of rust, in a couple of places odd looking, crack-like linears in the rifling, and when I got to the gas hole, the hole itself had significant flashing in the hole, thats a problem. I was able to break the flashing loose, it managed to remove most of the rust with a bore brush. After cleaning, I checked it again only to find what looks like shrink (that's what we call it in the casting world), large negative defects. Because of this, I went ahead and ordered head space gauges (not bad to have anyway) ro verify spacing, I have zero trust in the QC of this barrel. I should have been suspicious of the price. I'm actually surprised AR15 Discounts actually sold something of this quality. Some before and after photos attached.
