This was my first order from AR15 Discounts. I have ordered a couple of lower build kits from PSA in the past, had one in my cart there for this build, then the price went up $40 so I was going to just put it off. Then I saw a 12% off offer here and this kit jumped out at me for the value. I wanted a locking stock for a lower to pair with my 24" 6.5 Grendel upper. This Rogers Super-Stoc has a great fit out of the box, less rattle than a MOE even before locking it up tight. Here's the experience: It took about a week to ship. The whole kit was stuffed in a padded envelope which got stuffed in my mailbox. Packing was as minimalist as it gets with the buffer tube and parts in plain zipper bags and the stock in a bubble wrap bag. The one small casualty was the buffer tube which sustained an impact at the butt hard enough to take the finish off the edge and raise a burr. I just de-burred the aluminum and didn't worry about the shiny edge that gets covered by the stock. I put it together with an Anderson lower and all of the parts were good and complete. The sear edge on the hammer had a thin hanging burr and I gave both mating parts a light polish with a Dremel buff. The trigger now feels pretty good. I had the same thing on a mil-spec trigger from PSA. The trigger guard I got is an upgraded curved one similar to Magpul. This kit deserved 5-stars for the value but lost a star for going too cheap on packaging which I fault for the light damage to the buffer tube. I like the retail model of the lower build kit with a locally purchased stripped lower to avoid excessive FFL fees. Thanks for offering this low-priced, high value kit.
