Excellent Value Product
I was extremely impressed with the UTG offering. On a whim buying some spare parts, I decided to give this gas block a shot for $15 it is exceptionally well machined and finished. The tolerances where on par with my SLR go to. The UTG gas block was very tight on the journal of several criterion barrels I keep in stock. If you don't need an adjustable gas block, there is no need to look at another block. The set screws provided are large and knurled very aggressively, which when applied with loctite or rocksett and torqued to spec will secure it for a lifetime of use. They provided 3 knurled screws an allen wrench and even a roll pin for your gas tube.... Sadly many US manufacturers fall short when compared to the UTG. Even at 4 & 5 times the price! I'm very happy with this gas block! Say what you will about China, but the machining on this is impeccable. My Calipers show the proof, down to the thousandths.
