This back up sight has a spring-loaded function that is activated by a positive lock push button. When depressed the sight is locked in the upright position to keep it from collapsing during use. The rear aperture is windage adjustable with a tool-free adjustment knob and has two separate apertures for close or long-range shooting. The low-profile sight base attaches to 1913 picatinny rails and features integral recoil stops and a Torx screw locking mechanism to ensure a secure return to zero.
