First off, I was looking for an entry level Red Dot that is BETTER than the garbage you find on Amazon. I thought TruGlo was a good entry level brand, boy was wrong. The knob that turns it on, feels gritty, and it's hard to turn. You have a choice between fuzzy Red, or a fuzzy Green, "Dot", and no reticle choice at all. You have 5 intensity levels to choose from, (1. INVISIBLE (2. STILL INVISIBLE (3. CAN KINDA SEE IT NOW (4. FUZZY (5. HUGE AND FUZZY. The body has sharp burrs on it, and the Anodizing actually looks like "Parkerizing" from an old WWII 1911 service pistol. I can't believe TruGlo would even sell this thing, It's complete garbage... I paid $80.00 for this thing. Lesson learned, save up, and buy a Sig Sauer ROMEO, or just stick with Iron sights. How do I return this thing?
Complete garage.
I was looking for an entry level red dot for my AR pistol, and decided on this one because I thought TruGlow was a decent brand... Boy was I wrong. The turning the dial feels gritty, and not smooth at all, and the first 3 brightness levels are so dim, I doubt you would ever use that low of a setting. The finish on the sight looks like it's from an old WWII 1911. I and you have no reticle selection... Just a dot, that's it. I've seen $20.00 red dots from Amazon that are WAY better than this, and have better options. AR-15 discounts, I wouldn't sell these anymore... Complete garage. They belong in the under $10.00 clearance section... Not the $80.00 I paid.
