Key Features
- Patented Dog Leg design with integral dust cover protects optics from barrel heat and debris while preserving quick field stripping
- Constructed from durable 6061-T6 aluminum for lightweight strength with minimal added weight of approximately 9 ounces
- Forward-hinged quick-release mechanism with rear cam lock maintains full access to the receiver without tools
- Generous Picatinny rail surface provides 14-16 slots for flexible mounting of red dots, scopes, magnifiers, and backup sights
- Stepped profile lowers optic height over bore for improved co-witnessing potential with factory iron sights
Benefits for AK Owners
Traditional AK top covers often shift under recoil, compromising zero retention. The GEN 3 Dog Leg Rail solves this with a direct receiver mount that ensures repeatable accuracy. Its balanced design prevents forward-heavy feel, making it ideal for extended range sessions or tactical use. The quick-release cover allows easy maintenance while accommodating longer optics without additional QD hardware.
