Tannerite targets are compatible with centerfire rifles, the most common rounds that offer enough velocity to detonate Tannerite include 5.56 NATO, .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, .308 Winchester, 7.62 Soviet, and pretty much any other high-velocity rifle round. As far as options that don’t have the velocity to detonate Tannerite the list would include shotgun rounds and all but one handgun round, .22 TCM.
