Bad unit; but then...
Sig replaced the bad unit sight unseen. They just mailed a new one to me and I tossed the old. I have a 1/2 dozen of the relatively cheap Romeo line red dots and all work like champs but this one. I don't know the reason for the easy replacement but Sig's customer service is top shelf. I've used them a couple of times in the past and customer service doesn't get any better.
