NOTE: Be sure the muzzle device you attach is designed for 6.5 Grendel or larger cartridges. Always double-check your muzzle device during assembly for proper sizing.
NOTE: 416R is a Crucible brand steel and it was formulated specifically for barrels. Most types of steel, including normal 416SS are not designed to be used in freezing temperatures. But this steel was designed to operate in arctic temperatures, up to -40F. 416R also has greater accuracy potential than normal 416SS and 4150 steel due to its ability to take highly defined rifling and machining cuts.
NOTE: LBC in the title means Les Baer Custom which refers to the .264 LBC-AR cartridge. The .264 LBC-AR cartridge was designed by the Les Baer team to be completely compatible with the 6.5 Grendel.

Excellent barrel from a great company.
This barrel now has about 75 rounds through it and reliably shoots no worse than 1.5-2.0 MOA (and usually close to 1 MOA if I'm working at it) for me with Wolf standard steel case 100gr. With Hornady Black 123gr, it is consistently sub-MOA and my best 5 shot group to date was 0.62" center-to-center. Initially I had a BCG from a mfr I won't name, which had a headspace issue on the bolt/barrel interface. I worked with AR15 Discounts and ODIN Works to resolve that. The process was smooth, and an out-of-spec bolt was identified. ODIN Works provided me with their own BCG as a customer service -- simply excellent gesture on their part. Great barrel from ODIN Works and great pricing & customer service always from AR15 Discounts. I'm so happy with this barrel, I bought an ODIN Works .223 Wylde 18" 3-Gun barrel, which I'm still testing for ammo compatibility but finding similar accuracy so far. Highly recommend ODIN Works barrels.
USAfter First Range Day it looks Like a Shooter
Barrel arrived promptly as usual from AR15 Discounts. Its a good looking hunk of steel. It fit nicely in the receiver with no install issues. Took it to the range for break-in and ran a box of Hornady 123gr SST through it, cleaning frequently. Accuracy was not impressive with this ammo and a clean bore. However I then ran some factory Hornady 123gr ELD's and got a 5-shot group under .7 inches. Cant wait to work up a handload with these bullets. Very pleased!

USPrecision matters
Heard a lot of good things about these guys prior to ordering and being in mfg. I thought I would pay a little extra for it! But what I ordered and what u received were sub par for the accuracy they advertised, after opening the chamber still had burrs all around the inside and the bore isn’t concentric barrel extension almost.0045 and zero crown.
