NBS 14.5" (16" Overall) Mid-Length 5.56 NATO 1:7 Complete Upper w/ FSB and Pinned VG6 Precision Epsilon Muzzle Brake
This version of our 14.5" NBS Mid-Length Upper w/ FSB features a pinned VG6 Precision Epsilon Hybrid Muzzle Device for a legal 16" overall barrel length.
This is the next release in our line of NBS Complete Uppers. We like to think of it as the ultimate truck gun. We build a lot of ARs and our favorites, the ones that we like the most and perform the best are the ones we decide to sell (and yes there are more coming). This is an example of that. We love this configuration and it fits right in with our no bullshit approach. It is built on an Aero Precision Upper Receiver with a Nitride Ballistic Advantage Government Profile 14.5" barrel paired with the excellent APOC Armory Black Nitride BCG. The gas block is nitrided, the gas tube is nitrided, damn near everything is nitrided. Racking is facilitated using a Strike Industries Extended Latch Charging Handle. And if you haven't handled a rifle with this Magpul SL Handguard, you're missing out. We love a beautiful free-floated rail as much as the next guy but this thing is just so solid and so comfortable in the hand. We topped it off with one of the best hybrid muzzle devices you can get, the VG6 Precision Epsilon. This thing tames recoil and muzzle rise with the best of them plus it is pinnable which makes it 16" overall for use in restricted states.

Please note: As with many other top of the line 14.5" mid-length uppers this is one of the smoothest shooters around but it does prefer quality ammo (read more). If you feed it underpowered (the cheapest of the cheap) ammo you may experience some short stroking. Any mil-spec powered ammo will be fine but if you want to shoot the cheaper stuff (no judgement), we recommend lightening the buffer weight. The KAK Configurable Buffer is perfect for that.
