The MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) is a low-cost, color injection molded, folding back-up sight. The dual aperture MBUS Rear Sight is adjustable for windage and fits most 1913 Picatinny rail equipped weapons, but is specifically tailored to the AR-15/M16 platform. New features on the Gen 2 sights are a reduced size, greater optics compatibility and a spring-locking front sight post. Made in U.S.A.

I've used this and other flip-up BUS's and the Magpul is my choice for it's price point and overall quality. All metal flip-ups might be superior to the Magpul depending on mission requirements. But for everyday, civilian use, you can't go wrong with Magpul sights.
