Excellent mid-priced handguard
If you like the Aero Atlas S-One, consider one of these for your next build, or a serious upgrade over many standard handguards. Very nice and comfortable low-profile design. The one thing I don't see other reviews mention is just how solid this thing mounts up. It also mounts up flush against the receiver. No timing or barrel shims...Big plus. I got the 14-inch model, and it's a nice length for a 16-inch barrel, when some suppressor mounts fit a little snug on a 15-inch handguard (Ahem, Hux something or another...). Still has plenty of rail space. If you can get one on sale...even better. Worth it at full price. Only negative? You can get it in any color you want, as long as it's black. There's always aftermarket Cera Kote, but it would be nice to have some options from the factory. Oh yeah, it's pretty light, too.
