The Upper Standard Receiver is precision machined with an ultra-smooth proprietary bore. At a roughness average of 16 µin, bolt carrier friction is significantly less than a typical upper receiver creating a silkier action. Barrel nut threads, bore, and barrel extension surfaces are all machined in one operation for a perfectly concentric, perpendicular fit to the barrel assembly.

Great Upper Receiver
I was impressed when I received this. The inside has a super slick coating which actually quiets down the BCG work. Very impressed I think I’m going to go ahead and grab another one.

Looks perfect! Haven’t started the build yet, but this Lantac upper receiver is well made, nicely finished and fits several of my lowers tightly. Going to be part of a fine rifle.
USSample size of one
The unit I received was new in box but lacked QC. Lots of machining imperfections on the 1913 rail and at the back of the receiver. Anodizing was very nice and slick but for the price I have seen much nicer stripped uppers from more budget friendly manufacturers that have high QC. Again this is a sample size of one , the return process was quick and easy !
