The best barrel possible for your G17 Gen 5
After doing a tremendous amount of research and taking all evidence into account, the single most accurate threaded barrel for the Glock 17 Gen5 I can find is the KKM Precision match-grade threaded barrel. It has demonstrated the ability to significantly tighten groupings (often ~50% improvement over stock) without any fitting required, and it performs consistently across various ammo types. In competitive and LE circles, KKM is often the go-to for those who demand the smallest possible groups from a Glock. Its fully supported chamber and precise rifling contribute to excellent inherent accuracy, and the barrel’s drop-in convenience means any shooter can attain match performance with minimal fuss. While Bar-Sto and Jarvis are equally capable of phenomenal accuracy, they typically realize their full potential when semi-fitted or fitted, whereas KKM barrels tend to deliver outstanding accuracy immediately upon installation.
