Make what you will of it, just my $.02
I actually purchased this exactly drum from another website before I knew AR15Discounts existed, unfortunately, but that doesn't change the experience I had with this same drum. The first one I received looked all good and well, loading was a PITA, as to be expected of new springs, but feeding was terrible, I literally couldn't get it to feed 10 consecutive rounds reliably to save my life. Luckily I'm not shy when it comes to contacting companies CS, mainly because from my experience, most AR parts and accessories manufacturers/companies will stand behind their products, KCI was no different. If I remember correctly, they even provided me the shipping label, but I could be mistaken, regardless, they only asked the return of the defunct unit and promptly sent me a new unit which has been doing exactly what it's supposed to for roughly 4 years now, with no problems since receiving the new unit, which I figured it was just an inherent problem with hi-capacity drum mags that would be an issue no matter how many different ones I was sent, I was wrong. Now, still not something I'd ever use in a defensive situation where my life was in danger, but sure is badass and fun to have on range-days, also has the "cool" factor turned up to 11, or so I've been told, LoL. Make what you will of it, just thought some hands-on experience would be appreciated by any folks on the fence and probably spending the same amount on a D-60, only with almost half the capacity.
