There are many added benefits once you install a KVP tungsten buffer. I threw this on my 16" build and it handles admirably. It dampens the recoil a good bit while still allowing smooth firing. I'm only giving it four stars because in the first couple hundred rounds I've already marred the buffer tube. Not a huge issue, but some people care about cosmetics.
