Carbine style AR-10’s typically have a severely over gassed cycle system. An over gassed system, paired with a light factory buffer, equals a recipe for pre-mature internal component destruction. Help protect valuable internal components, like triggers, by upgrading your AR-10 Carbine buffer to a KVP 5.6 oz AR-10 buffer.
NOTE: Due to tungsten weight variation actual buffer weight may vary slightly +/- 5%.

Reduced recoil and over-gasses on my AR-308
Reduced recoil and over-gasses on my AR-308 . I also use "Sprinco Orange Buffer Spring". Good prices and fast shipping!
USBetter than the rest.
I know that normally a buffer is just that, a buffer. However, it is nice to have a buffer that has a stronger shell than the rest out there as well as "my favorite feature" the completely round head. No 3 little flats that can on occasion allow the buffer to slip by the buffer stop on folding adapters. Simply put, these are great buffers that do the job and stay put. They are a tad of a pain the install due to the full round but the pros far outweigh the con.
USPerfect
Very good. This should be the buffer used on all LR308 style carbine buffer builds. a less than 4 oz buffer will eventually cause problems as I learned the expensive way!
USNice looking buffer
I haven’t completely finished my AR-10 build yet, but this looked like the best .308 buffer available for a carbine length tube. Combined with a special .308 spring, a good muzzle device, and an adjustable gas block, I think the recoil on this new build will be quite manageable. The stainless steel housing looks super durable, and shouldn’t get dented by the retainer pin like the aluminum housings do. Without having shot it yet, I can say that it’s extremely well made and doesn’t rattle at all. Definitely feels like a good buy.
USExactly what I needed
Fits fin in lr308 and is the weight as stated.
