Common Questions

How is this spring installed?

The wire spring is positioned to engage the pivot pins directly within the stamped receiver. Proper installation requires basic AK knowledge or gunsmith assistance to ensure correct tension and alignment.

Is this part compatible with all AK receivers?

This retainer spring is specifically designed for stamped receivers. It is not intended for milled receivers or non-AK platforms.

Why is a dedicated retainer spring important?

It maintains consistent pressure on the pivot pins, reducing the risk of movement that could affect trigger function or lead to part loss during operation or maintenance.
