Minimalist to the max!
I have purchased and used over 30 different styles of grips over the years for my AR builds. If you are looking for a lightweight grip for a super light rifle build this is the lightest I have found except for a carbon fiber grip that was a few grams less but was totally smooth and cost $195! This grip is very small and steep. It is similar to a Magpul K grip in size but has thinner walls so it weighs significantly less and with a little smoother texture. The steep 15 degree grip angle is a fantastic choice for AR pistols and builds with a shorter length of pull putting your wrist at a much more comfortable angle. It is also quite small both in diameter and length. It is large enough to get a solid grip on the gun but only just. It would be great if you have small to medium size hands but it’s not that uncomfortable in my XL hands. If low weight is your primary requirement in every part you use (you know who you are) this is the one you want. If weight is not a big concern you might prefer a larger and grippier choice.
USHogue 15 Degree Pistol Grip
All my AR's have grips similar to this one (less angle than mil spec). The Hogue is nice but does not have the rubber coating. It might be a little small for larger hands but overall, I would purchase again.

This grip has a minimalist design, and is great for smaller hands. It is a comfortable despite being so Spartan. The distance from the back of the grip to the trigger well makes you feel your more in control of your trigger squeeze. It’s 1.6 oz. which is great for shaving weight off. AANNNNDDDD it’s 20 bucks.
