Compensators have been around for a while, and they are only becoming more popular as time goes on. Hiperfire’s Hipercomp Next Gen compensator screws onto 1/2 – 28 muzzle threads and is made for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington caliber firearms. The ports on this muzzle device work to redirect the gases released when you fire to help control the amount of recoil that the shooter feels. The Hipercomp Gen 2 is compatible with M9 and M10 bayonets and is the same size as the standard mil-spec A2 flash hider.
