Not sure why some people had problems with the install. Took me less than 5 minutes
AR15discounts had the best price and great customer service. I'll probably get another set for a new build. I bought the bigger spacer for the stock just incase I needed it but it fits my 6' frame just right. If I switch out my optics to an EOTech I may need the length. No problem installing the safety spring or the grip screw either.
USI'm neither impressed or disappointed in this piece.
It's a very nice design and quite different from some of the other ones on the market. I will note that it is very short and will most likely need the much larger spacer for bigger individuals. I picked up a 30 millimeter spacer. Even with this it still feels a little on the short side. For more of a visual I have a collapsible cobra stock, and this HERA stock is about as long as my other rifle fully collapsed Quality on this makes it feel like it was slapped together during the manufacturing process with very little attention to detail. There are many sharp edges where the two pieces come together and one of the snaps we're not completely closed due to the size difference. I've had to disassemble this piece and scrape the edges to make it much smoother and resize the one snap so I can close it completely. If you're going to use that it's made in Germany then I would most definitely make the pieces fit much better than what they do. I would buy one again, but I will almost certainly have to modify to make it much smoother piece. I also have the HERA front grip as well and it too came with the same edges.

Awesome German engineering and design
Love the HERA butt stock own both CQR and CQS they are both great. This one in particular is tactical with futuristic design. Love it.
