Something a little different.
So far I’m quite pleased with this purchase. The stock has clean lines with nothing at all to snag on. It replaced a unit that didn’t have QD mounts and it would mean adding them. This stock has them on both sides. Just like anything else new, it just takes time on the line to get used to operating it. Two things of note. The rubber but pad is four compared to the previous that had five inches. Further it is at an angle. So standing the gun takes a second to make sure it won’t tip. Last seems everyones idea if FDE is different the coloration is the lightest version of FDE I’ve encountered. Obviously not important compared to operation and quality. It has a tight fit and doesn’t rattle nearly as much as the previous stock. If your looking for something different with a quality build and features that would cost a little more via another brand. This is a good pick.
Solid setup!
I wasn’t sure about the fit or feel of the adjuster set up. I’ve been using the lever type since I first started using an AR. The stock is amazingly solid and when I took it out the range to see how it felt to shoot with it. Totally addicted to the feel and the smooth adjustments of it. I went out and got the CQR front grip. The combination added a whole new dimension to the feel and accuracy
