The SN-ACH™ (Gen 2) (Suppressor Normalized Ambidextrous Charging Handle) is a patented, modernized, feature filled charging handle that will satisfy any AR15 user. The SN-ACH™ – Gen 2 features an improved gas check groove and an improved, forward-facing 60° gas vent that reduces gas in the face of the shooter when using a suppressor by ejecting it forward and to the side of the firearm. The revised Gen 2 SN-ACH™ also receives a beveled rear shoulder to capture gases escaping from the rear of the receiver and redirect them forward and to the sides instead of into the shooter’s face. Improved fitment and machining of the Gen 2 SN-ACH™ creates a tighter seal between the handle and your upper receiver, resulting in decreased gas leakage at the rear of the receiver.
Configurable levers were also added so that a user could choose to run the included large lever, which works with gloved hands, or purchase and modularly use the smaller levers without having to buy an entirely new handle at an excessive cost. The bolt carrier engaging hook features durable reinforced geometry for 30% increase in strength over milspec handles and approximately 3 times as strong as inferior 6061 handles which routinely break under hard use. Fitment bearing surfaces on the handle mating ensures reduced wobble fitment with the AR15 and AR10 upper receiver. The handle is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard coated for optimal wear resistance- the Griffin SN-ACH™ (Gen 2) is the finest charging handle available for the AR series family of firearms.

It does help some!
This charging handle does indeed help with gas blow back when using a suppressor. It doesn't eliminate it, of course, but reduces it.

Quality charging handle, I shoot almost exclusively suppressed and this charging handle does the job, reduces gassing to the face and helps to direct away from the shoot. I absolutely love the size and tactile feel of the wings on the CH, they're not overly large to the point you risk snagging on gear.

Typical Griffin quality! The handles are not low profile, so look to other options for that, but the function is flawless and great design to direct gas away from directly in your face! This is a top tier charging handle and worth every penny.

My overall experience was positive, I received an out of spec SNACH charging handle, but I contacted Griffin Armament and they got me a new one and return postage for the old one. It was fast and easy, while it is annoying getting a bad product I am very happy with Griffin Armament and AR15 discount has always been fast about shipping and the whole buying process.
