Very Good Rail
Install was a breeze. Although, you do have to align the barrel nut with the gas tube. Not a big deal and can be easily accomplished within the torque specs of the barrel nut. I would prefer some sort of anti-rotational tabs even though Griffin Armament reps claim it's not needed with the 4 mounting screws and 25 inch lbs per screws. Then again, I suppose the gas tube will fill that role somewhat with the barrel nut indexing similar to mil-spec. Nonetheless, I feel it's sturdy (the handguard itself looks like it can take a lot of abuse) and super rigid, particularly if you need lasers to hold zero or limit flex with loading on a bipod. Relatively lightweight for what it is.
Best rail to tuck a can?
I absolutely love this design of rail. Big enough to tuck a 1.5 can but not so fat it feels big in your hand or making it feel front heavy. It gave my AR a nice balanced feel. Only thing I don’t care for is you can not use the mlok portion of the rail with a 1.5 can. If you’re tucking a smaller pistol can you’ll be fine to run grips.
