Why Choose This Barrel

This Green Mountain barrel addresses common pain points for AR-15 enthusiasts, such as inconsistent accuracy across ammunition types and barrel wear from frequent use. The nitride coating protects against rust and fouling, while the .223 Wylde chamber ensures tight groupings whether you’re using match-grade or surplus ammo. Its mid-length gas system reduces gas blowback compared to carbine-length setups, contributing to a smoother shooting experience and less felt recoil.

Built on the proven AR-15 platform, this 16″ M4-profile barrel integrates seamlessly with standard uppers and handguards, allowing for easy customization. The 0.75″ gas block journal accommodates a variety of gas blocks, and the 1/2×28 threading supports popular muzzle devices for recoil mitigation or sound suppression.

Whether you’re assembling a new rifle or replacing an existing barrel, this component provides the reliability and performance needed for tactical training or recreational shooting.
