Foxtrot Mike Products Ultra Light Free Float M-LOK AR-15 Handguard
This Foxtrot Mike Products Ultra Light Free Float Handguard features a slim profile with M-LOK attachment points along the full 15” in length as well as on the diagonal angles allowing for more variety when attaching accessories. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and has a type III hardcoat anodized finish for excellent corrosion resistance. This AR-15 free float handguard is compatible with all Mil-Spec upper receivers and most low-profile gas blocks, so you have the freedom to build your rifle the way that you want. It is easy to install with the included proprietary barrel nut and eight hardened steel screws to ensure that it won’t loosen over time. This M-LOK handguard also has a full length picatinny top rail that mounts flush with M4 flat top upper receivers to give you more mounting space for scopes, red dots and iron sights.

FM uses this handguard on a 9mm upper I have. It is very light, solid, and feels pretty good in the hand. Fit and finish are good, even if it's still in the budget range. I can't speak to installation ease or how hard it is to time the barrel nut so the handguard mounting screws line upright, but once installed this handguard will not move.

The positives: very light; reasonable price; strong fixturing of the handguard to the barrel nut. The negatives: takes some trial-and-error to get the barrel nut torqued and indexed right so the handguard goes on flush to the receiver pic rail; you'll need a nylon or delrin punch and a hammer to tap the rail on and off the barrel nut; the fasteners are considered disposable by FM so buy some extras.
