Good but not necessarily plug-and-play
Overall this piece is very well made and feels solid. It has a teflon upper/lower slop take-up screw built into it that works very well and the really difficult-to-install parts are already on the receiver. The design of the right side ambi mag catch release is a little ill-conceived though. There is a rod that sticks out on the right side of the receiver that hits the upper and prevents the catch from functioning. There are 3 solutions. 1. Use one of their compatible receivers 2. Cut your upper 3. Remove the rod. The manufacturer provides instructions for 2 and 3. I chose to remove the rod and removing the rod is difficult. I ended up clamping the rod in a drill’s chuck and backing it out that way, which seems risky but it worked (this time). There is a ton of red locktite in there which typically won’t release unless you add heat. If you are willing to deal with the rod, this thing is great. If you are not willing to deal with the rod, use the non-ambi version.
