US
Very well designed hadguard.
Great fit, anodizing matches my Centurion upper and Stag/Aero lower. Anti rotation tabs fit my upper perfectly tight. Really impressed by the mechanism to lock the handguard to the barrel nut. It's a pair of splined wedges that ride in the nut's groove, and has zero slop and stays dead center as it's tightened. I saw weight mentioned in another review, but as part of my marksman build along with a 20" heavy fluted barrel, is 17oz lighter than my 16"carbine with a government profile barrel, and a no name clamp on free float guard. Never paid this much for a handguard before, and now I know what I was missing out on.
USAwesome rail
Amazing rail, arrived really quickly. Came with all the hardware and the barrel nut wrench. Only thing I'm surprised is that it didn't come with any instructions. I watched my install video on YouTube from Brownells and double checked the torque specs on the FCD website, which turns out their rails are made by CMT (cross machine tool) according to FCD on their website. Highly recommend
United StatesGreat handguard
It comes with a castle-style barrel nut installation tool which you use a 1/2 drive to manipulate. To be honest the castle-style barrel nuts are my least favorite but the retention design of the guard to to barrel nut, which is amazing, makes up for this. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat for a battle rifle but not a target rifle if you're pinching ounces on weight.
USMy favorite
I have tried several different hand guards and this is by far my favorite. I have 4 already. High quality fit and finish, appears to be rugged and has an old school look. The Diameter is not to small as some others and has plenty of clearance for mlock attachments near the gas block. I wish they had a 10.5” model. I would get a couple more.
