Forward Controls Design ESF-H Enhanced End Plate
Starting from $57.00
The end plate is one of the most over looked parts when it comes to upgrading your rifle. After all, that simple hunk of forged metal does a perfectly good job of holding your takedown pin detent and spring in place and providing material to stake your castle nut. Forward Controls Design wasn’t content to leave well enough alone, however and offers the End Plate, Sling Adapter, Forward Controls Design now available in heavy duty 4140 chrome moly steel.
Features:
- 4140 chrome moly steel construction
- Rotation Limited side QD sling swivel sockets
- Free rotation center QD sling swivel socket
- Tough DLC, FDE Cerakote or Phosphate finish
- Solid at 1.1 Oz
Like all of FCDs designs, function came first. Basically bomb proof, the ESF incorporates three different quick-detach sling swivel sockets. The sockets on each side of the end plate are rotation limited to prevent slings from getting twisted. The central located rear socket is free rotating, allowing for smooth and easy transitions from shoulder-to-shoulder. The design also allows for SOMPOD and B5 Bravo stocks to completely collapse even with a rear facing QD swivel installed.
Forward Controls Design firmly believes in the elegance of simplicity. Not content to produce purely aesthetic components, they put function before form to create parts and accessories that actually improve the handling and function of your firearms. When you need parts that just work without complication, you need Forward Controls Design.

typical FCD quality
I own several of these, and Roger doesn't mess around with less than stellar parts. Great design/aesthetics, and a perfect sling attachment point. And hey, don't @ me with no steak on the castle nut (also FCD) this build is still under construction.
USNot what I thought!
Nice made well but it was a design that I had believed to be different than what it was

FCD is as Gucci as you can get. You pay a premium but you are getting a top-notch product. I have several on my builds and love each style.
