The cam pin is a part of your rifle that pretty much shooters put any thought into. Whenever we clean our BCG, we’ll just reinstall the cam pin without thinking about how it can wear. According to School of the American Rifle (SOTAR)’s Chad Albrecht, this can lead to poor fit and speed up wear on the bolt. Extra wear on the bolt means more bolts breaking. The SOTAR Cam Pin from Forward Controls Design features a dimpled witness mark allowing you to install the cam pin in a consistent orientation to reduce wear and improve the parts life of your bolt.
Features:
- Witness mark for consistent installation
- MIL-SPEC construction
- Salt Bath Nitride finish
Forward Controls Design firmly believes in the elegance of simplicity. Not content to produce purely aesthetic components, they put function before form to create parts and accessories that actually improve the handling and function of your firearms. When you need parts that just work without complication, you need Forward Controls Design.

Simple & Effective Upgrade
Great simple and effective upgrade to any BCG. It's not a bad idea to have a spare cam pin anyways so why not get this and keep your current one as the spare! Dimple ensures proper installation for a uniform wear pattern each time.
USTrust Chad
With many of the youtubers and weekend armorers out there spouting advice, Chad with SOTAR, an expert in the field will drop knowledge and I know to swallow my pride, hear what’s been said, and evaluate what I currently doing. If you want your duty or hard use rigs to run, this is an easy way to get there.
